Enhanced OpenAM

Open SCAP logo

The OpenSCAP project provides a variety of open source tools related to the Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP), a security automation standard developed by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) in collaboration with G2 and others. Our support of SCAP continues to this day, including running the SCAP Validation Program for NIST and writing content for SCAP validation purposes.

To achieve the level of secure automation needed for today's data access needs, G2 has partnered with ForgeRock to create Enhanced OpenAM. Enhanced OpenAM builds on the ForgeRock Identity Platform™ to provide enhanced Identity and Access Management (IdAM) capabilities. Enhanced OpenAM supports usage of a pluggable authoritative attribute repository for Attribute-Based Access Control (ABAC) systems, as well as enabling PKI and ABAC authentication.

OpenC2 logo

G2 is the original creator of Open Command Control (OpenC2). OpenC2 is "a standardized language for the command and control of technologies that provide or support cyber defenses." In other words, OpenC2 enables orchestration of cyber defense mechanisms.

We have transitioned responsibility for OpenC2 to OASIS in order to further its development, advancement, and proliferation as a standard. We work with the consortium to advise them on how we think the OpenC2 language should evolve.
