Edge Computing

Edge computing enables data processing near the tactical edge of your network, where data is being captured, instead of centralizing data processing in the cloud or back in a data center. This is beneficial to our clients because it provides real-time data processing without latency. It allows devices to respond almost instantaneously as data is being created, which eliminates lag time. This new way of processing data is extremely efficient, thus providing our clients with the advantages of cost savings and quicker decision making.

Examples of how we’ve helped our clients better understand edge computing and developed solutions are:

  • The creation and writing of NIST SP 800-191, “Definition of Fog Computing".
  • Development of edge computing systems capable of storing and processing up to one petabyte (PB) of data.
  • Development of the Open Data Platform, which brings analytics to the point of collection for USCYBERCOM and other Federal agencies.

Open Data Platform (ODP)

Today, there are many solutions offering data or cloud analytics, but for analysts to access these data sets, they must be at their desk. The Open Data Platform (ODP) is purpose built with tactical users in mind. Our unique solution is built on four key design elements:

Containers & Microservices - Isolated execution environments to optimize analytic flexibility and sharing, enabling DevOps.
Open Access Management - Standards-based identity, authentication, and federation.
