Systems Engineer

    Job Description:

    Analyzes system requirements, designs and develops activities for complex systems. Guides users in formulating requirements, advises alternative approaches, and conducts feasibility studies. Responsible for the integration of requirements, design, and technology during the design and development of complex systems. Seamlessly incorporates new plans, designs, and systems into ongoing operations. Develops associated technical documentation. Performs in accordance with NSA/CSS Enterprise Architecture plans and guidance, Systems Engineering Policies, Standards Program, and Capability Maturity Model integrated (CMMi) best practices.

    WORK EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
    - 3 through 16 years of experience (depending on level – Systems Engineer 1, 2, or 3) as a part of a system development team, or in technical program management, and/or as a system development team lead, obtained recently.
    -At least 50% of this experience shall be in programs with particular relevance to SIGINT, Communications Systems, and Information Technology.
    - Experience as a systems engineer in programs that encompassed systems architecture, requirements analysis, design, production, integration, test, and transition into operations.
    - System engineering experience obtained in an intelligence community environment, obtained within a recent timeframe.

    CERTIFICATION AND TRAINING:

    Bachelor’s degree or a Master’s degree are preferred but not required.

    Clearance:

    A TS/SCI clearance with full-scope polygraph is required.
