Job Description:
Supports, monitors, tests and troubleshoots hardware and software problems pertaining to CANS/WANS/LANS. Schedules and performs network maintenance, installation configuration and repairs. Provides support for all LAN Based applications, routers, firewalls, VOIP and Ethernet technology. In addition to these Network Administrator duties, candidate provides input to the design of the organization's network architecture. Configures and maintains organization's network diagrams and accreditations. Supports mission architecture to include power distribution and support systems. Integrates hardware and software to satisfy ISO 9000 requirements and other DOD/IC regulations.
General Experience:
Candidate must have a minimum of four years work experience in network engineering in conjunction with a Bachelors Degree in the appropriate discipline. Or the candidate can have a minimum of eight years of network installation (including high bandwidth data transfer and video), engineering with current technology and industry standard concepts practices and procedures in network design. Familiarity with Cisco, data transfer technologies, protocols and network troubleshooting is strongly desired.
Clearance:
A TS/SCI clearance with full-scope polygraph is required
